MUTEC
The Zeutschel "OS A W," also known as "The Wall," is an innovative workflow for reprography in museums and galleries. With this workflow, existing equipment can be calibrated scene-specifically, allowing for image qualities that meet the standards of ISO-19264-1, FADGI, or Metamorfoze.
The OmniScan software and the OS A W extension module enable the quick and reliable digitization of objects. Through the innovative one-click calibration on a special template, all external conditions of the scene (such as lighting, scale, and geometry) are captured and incorporated into the calibration. The end result is a tonally and color-accurate, geometrically perfect, and uniformly illuminated representation of the original.
The precise geometric correction allows large-format originals to be captured in tiled sections and seamlessly assembled in OmniScan. This technique enables a studio camera to be used as a mobile scanner.
